JOPLINMO (SCHOOL YEARBOOK)

• Joplinmo is open to students that have completed Journalism I and have interviewed with Mr. Benfield. The yearbook staff members acquire interviewing skills, photography instructions, various writing techniques, and experience in sales.

THE SPYGLASS (SCHOOL NEWSPAPER)

• Meetings will be in class
• The Spyglass is open to students who are in Journalism I and selected by the teacher. The Spyglass is published once a month, free of charge. The mission on The Spyglass, JHS school newspaper, is to publish current activities and events, movie reviews, and student opinion articles. Students will focus on the improvement of journalistic techniques.
