Parental Involvement

A home environment that encourages learning is an important part of student achievement. We encourage parents and guardians of Joplin High School students to be actively involved in their child's education.

Parents can make an important difference in the life of JHS students by sending a message that schoolwork is important and by regularly discussing school matters with them. For parents who are interested in taking an even more active role, JHS parent clubs (Band Boosters, Athletic Boosters, Project Graduation, School Site Council) help support JHS students in many ways. We invite you to join!
