MISSOURI SOUTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE
A representative from Missouri Southern State University Upward Bound program will be available to talk with interested students in the JHS cafeteria during all lunch hours on Tuesday, September 7th.

PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE
A representative from Pittsburg State University will be available to talk with interested students in the JHS cafeteria during all lunch hours on Wednesday, September 01.

SEARCHING FOR DRUMMER & BASS PLAYER
Mr. Eichenberger is looking for a drummer and a bass player to play for Sound Dimension and Touch of Class Showchoirs.  Please come to room F102 if you are interested.

PARKING
Any student parking in no parking zones (Reynolds lot, staff parking and fire zones) or vehicles that are parked with no parking stickers for the school year 2010-2011 will receive a disciplinary referral or City of Joplin parking ticket starting on September 6, 2010.

JAM CLUB
There shall be a JAM Club meeting Thursday, Sept 2nd at 3:40 in Room A-115.  

ALL SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND SENIORS
The drug testing consent form must be signed and returned to the JHS Athletic Office (forms available from the Athletic Office or your sponsor) by the first Tuesday in September (September 7, 2010) by all Sophomore, Junior and Senior students planning to participate in any extra-curricular and/or co-curricular activities programs at Joplin High School.
Examples (including but not limited to):  Athletics, Clubs, Music, Band, Speech & Debate, Drama (Plays & Musicals), Franklin Tech Competitions,
JET14, Academic Clubs/Competitions, etc.
Freshmen students may enter the program at anytime during their
Freshmen year prior to participation in an activity. 
UNSURE IF YOU NEED TO FILL ONE OUT?  CHECK WITH YOUR TEACHER/SPONSOR TO SEE IF YOU ARE
ALREADY SIGNED UP!!  (You don’t have to sign up every year.)
