JHS Teacher Named "Educator of the Year" by Independent Living Center

Tammy Arteaga, teacher at Joplin High School, was named "Educator of the Year" by the Independent Living Center. Arteaga was nominated by the Independent Living Center’s youth specialist, Phyllis Craig, who noticed Arteaga’s willingness to partner with agencies such as the Independent Living Center to benefit students with disabilities.
