3 Named to
All-Area Academic Excellence Team
JHS students Saihari Dukkipati, James "Alex" Moreland, and Justin Dollma are among top area seniors to be named to the Joplin Globe's 2009 All-Area Academic Excellence Team. The students will be honored at the annual All-Area Academic Team Awards Banquet to be held April 23, 2009 at Granny Shaffer’s Banquet Center.
Each year, approximately 20 students are selected to the All-Area Academic Excellence Team based on a formula using grade point average and ACT or SAT scores. The program began in 1986.
