JHS Business Teacher Named Southwest Business Education Association's New Professional of the Year
Joplin High School teacher Mandy Witt-Aubert was selected as the Southwest Business Education Association’s New Professional of the Year at their annual fall meeting held in October. The honor is bestowed to those who have been teaching business education for three to five years and have shown outstanding dedication and service to the Business Education profession. Only nine individuals are eligible to receive the award in the State of Missouri.
Witt-Aubert is now eligible to receive the Missouri Business Education Association’s New Professional of the Year award, which will be awarded at the Missouri Association of Career and Technology Education Conference held in Springfield, Missouri in the summer.
Currently in in her third year of teaching at Joplin High School, Witt-Aubert serves as advisor for the National Honor Society and as assistant advisor for the Future Business Leaders of America.
