46 Seniors Graduate with Honors
On Sunday, May 18, forty-six Joplin High School seniors graduated with honors. (See lists below.) Each students’ honors were announced as their name was read when they crossed the stage at graduation.
Summa Cum Laude is based on a 4.2 and above grade point average, a minimum of 27 graded credits, completed the courses listed in the college prep curriculum, and have been enrolled a full-time student for 8 semesters. The seniors honored with Summa Cum Laude were: Kaleb Cox, Ashley Davidson, Lindsey Hamm, Daniel Herr, Jordan Drew Johnson, Kelsey Knewtson, Alan Liu, Michael McCreary, Taylor Yust.
Magna Cum Laude is based on a 4.0-4.19 grade point average, a minimum of 27 graded credits, completed the courses listed in the college prep curriculum, and have been enrolled a full-time student for 8 semesters. The seniors honored with Magna Cum Laude were: Adam Blood, Andrew Brown, Laura Dimmit, Danielle Dishman, Lynelle Jones, Tyler Knewtson, Dana Linnes, Michelle Moorman, Tom Mourning, Michael Turner, Lindsey Yager, and Sidra Zaidi.
Cum Laude is based on a 3.85-3.99 grade point average, a minimum of 27 graded credits, completed the courses listed in the college prep curriculum, and have been enrolled a full-time student for 8 semesters. The seniors honored with Cum Laude were: Laura Barr, Katy Berryman, Todd Brueckner, Tyler Burgess, Paige Curry, Emma Doner, Rebecca Foster, Joshua Glasson, Matthew Harrison, Haley Hess, Matthew Lenhart, Mark Medlin, Curran Meek, Jessica Musser, Kaleigh Myers-Geiger, Russell Peterson, Randi Russell, Kelli Scribner, Ali Stauffer, Stephanie Straw, Paige Strella, Preston Trotter, Heather Washburn, Scott Williams, Zachary Wright.
