Physical Education

One unit of physical education credit and one-half unit of health are required for graduation from the Joplin School District for the class of 2010 and beyond. Currently for the class of 2007, 2008, and 2009, one and one-half units of physical education and one-half unit of health are required for graduation.

The Physical Education Department consists of seven teachers. Course offerings are Aerobics, Foundations of Physical Education, Health, Team Sports and Weight Training.
