JHS Volleyball
Volleyball is one of several sports offered at Joplin High School. Volleyball is played in the fall season with freshman, junior varsity, and varsity squads that play a full schedule each season. The season begins with tryouts in early August with practice for each team continuing on a daily basis.
Joplin Volleyball teams play their home games on the high school campus in Kaminsky Gymnasium. Kaminsky gym received a brand new floor and state of the art Volleyball system in 2006.
The Joplin Lady Eagles compete in the Ozark Conference consisting of ten teams from around southwest Missouri. We also compete against teams from the Central Ozark Conference.
In district play, Joplin plays on the class 4 level and is in a district comprised of 7 area teams. The District’s tournament home rotates between the 7 participating schools.
The Lady Eagles regularly participate in summer team camps and leagues. Summer Camps are also offered to Middle School through High School students who are instructed on the fundamentals of the game by the High School and Middle School staff. Check the Schedules page for dates and times.
