JHS Track
Track, Varsity and Junior Varsity, is offered at Joplin High School for both boys and girls in ninth through twelfth grade. Track is during the spring sport season, February through May. Practices are held after school at Junge Field.
Both the boys’ and girls’ track teams have been Conference Champs as well as District Champs in recent years. The boys’ team accomplished top 10 finishes in Missouri Class 4 in 2002 and 2004. Over the past five years we have had 14 individuals and two relays receive all-state distinction. In the same period we had 21 individual Conference Champions and seven Conference Champion Relays.
