JHS Cross Country
Cross-Country is a great sport that involves running on various golf courses and parks that range in distances from 1.5 to 3.5 miles. Both boys and girls are able to compete on a Junior Varsity or Varsity level. Runners compete as a team and as individuals.
JHS cross-country is a fall sport that begins in late August and runs through the first week in November. A running distance camp is offered the first two weeks in June, and various running clubs are held throughout the summer.
Several JHS cross-country runners have qualified for sectional and state competitions over the last ten years.
